Black Beans with Smart Bacon®

Ingredients:


1 package (5 oz) Lightlife Smart Bacon®, chopped to a medium dice
1 can (15 oz) black beans, undrained
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1/8 tsp. salt

Heat olive oil in large sauté pan over medium heat for approximately 2 minutes, or until hot. When oil is hot, add garlic and Smart Bacon®. Sauté over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Stir in can of black beans (do not drain). Continue stirring every couple of minutes to work in the flavor of the Smart Bacon® and garlic. After 5 minutes, reduce heat to a simmer. Allow mixture to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring as needed. Add salt and serve.
